TAC Students Explore Mughal Heritage at Jahangir's Tomb in Lahore

IntroductionThe senior school arranged an educational trip to Jahangir’s Tomb for students of grades 9 to 11 as part of its co-curricular learning activities. The purpose of this visit was to provide students with practical exposure to historical landmarks and to help them understand the significance of Mughal history in a more engaging way. The trip also served as a refreshing break from routine classroom learning.






Visit to the Historical Site Upon arrival, students were welcomed by the peaceful environment and well-maintained gardens surrounding Jahangir’s Tomb. Teachers explained the historical background of Emperor Jahangir and highlighted the importance of the monument in Mughal architecture. Students carefully observed the detailed marble work, calligraphy, and symmetrical design of the tomb, which reflected the artistic skills of that era. Many students took notes and photographs to document their learning experience.
