TAC Grade 11 Interns: Exploring Social Impact at Akhuwat Organization

As part of TAC’s summer activities, Grade 11 students had the opportunity to intern at Akhuwat Organization, Lahore — a well-known welfare institution that serves underprivileged communities through various social and educational programs.

During the internship, students explored multiple departments including Human Resources, Finance, Media, and IT, gaining insight into the organization’s professional structure and nationwide impact. They also visited the Cloth Bank, which supports families in need by distributing donated clothing and bridal packages.

The journey concluded with a visit to Akhuwat College, Kasur, where students learned about Akhuwat’s mission to fight poverty through free quality education. They explored the Agriculture, Livestock, and IT departments, and witnessed how the college promotes organic farming, skill development, and community service.

The internship was not only educational but deeply inspiring, showing students how compassion, innovation, and teamwork can create real social change.

Warm Regards
